AHAVAS TORAH has dissolved, the membership has gone over to
Chabad of Eugene.

Thank you for coming to visit this webpage over the years. Here is the link and a pdf of an article featured in the online magazine Jewish Action, written by Gary Katz some years past. It relates the genesis and history of Ahavas Torah from its beginning as an offshoot of Temple Beth Israel as Halachic Minyan, to its move to its own building on Donald Street in Eugene, where we began to call ourselves Ahavas Torah. After the break-in there in which there was an attempt to desecrate the two Torah scrolls we had, the decision was made to move to the Onyx Street location. Sadly, due to the drastic decline in membership, the Board of Directors made the difficult decision to close the shul and dissolve Ahavas Torah (Halachic Minyan). Beginning August 29, we will be merging with Chabad of Eugene.
